At Blackbird Security, we believe businesses like ours have a duty to set the example we wish to see within our communities. That’s why giving back and contributing positively forms a foundational aspect of our business. We achieve this goal through our words, our actions, and our ongoing investment in supporting several not-for-profit organizations.

An organization we are particularly proud to partner with is the Breakfast Club of Canada. Every day, the Breakfast Club serves more than 250,000 nutritious breakfasts to children across 1,887 Canadian schools. Their vital work ensures children have an equal chance to learn, generating positive changes in school communities and across our society.

Our Partnership with the Breakfast Club of Canada

Blackbird Security is an official corporate partner of the Breakfast Club of Canada. So far, we have donated the equivalent of over 2,500 meals, with 50 per cent of these going to rural Indigenous populations. Now, we’re calling on our community to get involved.

Right now, the Breakfast Club are holding a vital fundraising drive consisting of an online auction. Among prizes as diverse as a luxurious stay at Fairmont Banff Springs, and an autographed Kyle Lowry Raptors jersey, Blackbird Security has donated 50 hours of security service across British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba to the auction.

How to Get Involved

We encourage our clients to get involved and bid on our 50 hours of security service. All proceeds go to preventing childhood hunger, and it’s an opportunity to improve your security services while benefitting one of Canada’s most important causes. The starting bid is just $400, and it’s sure to increase rapidly in the coming days. These hours can be used across any of our services, including retail loss prevention, patrol security, concierge services and even COVID-19 safety support.
